Nursing Foundation Lab

Nursing foundation lab is well equipped with high fidelity Manikins, equipment's and instruments as recommended by the Indian Nursing Council. Basic nursing procedures are demonstrated by the teachers, and then students re-demonstrate on Manikins in the lab and on each other. And projector for show the video and procedure to students before demonstration and separate viva room also available in nursing foundation lab.

To nourish the foundation of nursing, our lab is well suited with simulators on which students will be Taught the preliminary training of Patient care. In simulation, the learning is made easy by resembling clinical practices and skills as closely as possible to the real patient care and environment. This also pave a way to the students to think and act as if they were with real patients and yet it prevents students from Committing mistakes and causing harm to patients Through a trial and error approach. The nursing skills Learnt by the student nurses using simulation are safely passed onto actual patient care later on during clinical practice.

To provide comprehensive nursing care to the patients, students are closely supervised and Constantly mentored in groups by experts. Basic nursing procedures are demonstrated by the teachers, and then students re-demonstrate on Manikins in the lab and on each other. After gaining confidence, students are permitted to carry out these procedures on patients in the clinical area. In a glimpse, nursing foundation department provides extensive and Intensive training and learning opportunities for the students to excel in providing holistic nursing care and to become a competent professional nurse.

Pre-Clinical Science Lab

Our Pre-Clinical Science Lab are wee ventilated well designed with fully furnish and It has various divisions like discussion, all system wise models Like skeletal system, digestive system, reproductive system etc. all models are available in our pre-clinical laborite, charts, poster and equipment’s and articulated skeletons.

Midwifery And Child Health Lab

Well ventilated MCH laboratory with separate labor room provides a comprehensive and high quality teaching with a high fidelity simulation manikin to practice and Demonstrate competency of selected obstetric skills. The MCH lab helps the students to acquire knowledge and hands on training in mother and new born care that are to be practiced in clinical settings. It is fully equipped with Pelvis, Fetal skull, various instruments, different kinds of models and manikins, charts, play articles, flash cards and necessary articles for procedure demonstration like assessment of antenatal mother, intra-natal and post-natal Mother, newborn care and growth and development of all age groups.

This MCH lab with high fidelity simulator is an additional asset and it highlights the department in permitting nursing students to Acquire complete learning experience in normal and abnormal labor process through simulation based learning which resolve practical Dilemma in clinical set up.

We are practicing objective structured practical examination (OSPE/ OSCE) method to conduct.

Community Health Nursing Lab

The Community Health Nursing department Laboratory is well air-conditioned with adequate floor space. The laboratory is equipped with sufficient equipment’s like community bags, PHC, CHC items and models. The department actively participates in all national health Programmers implemented by Government of India and State government. The field training is imparted in both rural and urban areas. The RHTC & UHTC provides preventive, pro-motive, curative, Rehabilitative and referral services to the adopted villages .

Nutrition Lab

The Nutrition Lab is meant to capacitate the scholar nurses to accumulate adequate knowledge for maintenance of optimum Health at different stages of life and its application of practice in nursing. The nutrition lab is well ventilated and really much outfitted with essential amenities and advanced equipment for the use of aptitudes in planning of varied therapeutic diets the lab is well furnished for the use of varied assortment of cooking methods towards healthy life styles. The main aim is to procured information on nourishment for support of ideal wellbeing and its application for training of sustenance.

The Nutrition lab is well established with all facilities including gas stoves, refrigerators and microwave, sort of articles and vessels for the event of skills in preparation of various food items are present. The lab is well facilitated with adoption to Cookery rules and Preservation of nutrients, ingredients to make sure the preparation of palatable food and to work out parity of diet.

Advance Skill Laboratory

Advance Skill Laboratory Help the Nursing Students to Learn about the new Technological advancement change which take place in medical and Paramedical Profession. In our Institute we have developed advanced skill lab which include new Developed Equipment and our Lab is based on Various Station. E.g. Equipment and Instrument, Advanced Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Manikin, Crash Cart, Trolley, Advanced manikin on that more than 15 Nursing Procedure can be done e.g. Ryle’s Tube Insertion, Feeding, Stoma Care, Cauterization, Enema, Bedsore Dressing with Various Stages, Injection Sites, etc. even Lab is equipped, Labour manikin with labour Table, I.V. Injection arm with Intravenous line and Blood transfusion set. Before students perform procedure on Human Being they use Advance skill lab for Practice which makes them Perfect & confident.

Class Room

Our Class Room are well ventilated Class Rooms are well arranged with well-furnished benches, Table and Chair. Every class room has its own LCD and overhead projector for effective teaching and has enough space.
